BBC Radio’s Festive Schedule

The BBC has announced its festive schedule for radio, featuring various guest editors and presenters.

Guest Editors and Presenters

• Mariah Carey: Making her radio presenting debut on Christmas Day at 7pm on BBC Radio 2, where she will play Christmas classics from artists who have inspired her.

• Si King: Hosting his first BBC Radio 2 show on December 23 from 10pm to midnight, featuring some of the favourite rock anthems on his playlist.

• Cher: Revealing some of her favorite tracks as a castaway on BBC Radio 4’s Desert Island Discs on December 15.

Christmas Specials

• Gavin And Stacey Christmas Special: Actress Joanna Page will host two Off The Telly: Gavin And Stacey Specials with podcaster Natalie Cassidy.

• Outnumbered Christmas Special: Comedian Romesh Ranganathan will interview the actors of the Brockman family on his BBC Radio 2 show on December 21.

Other Festive Shows

• Si King hosting his first BBC Radio 2 show, featuring rock anthems on December 23 from 10pm to midnight.

• Zoe Ball serving up her favorite crooners on Christmas Eve from midday to 2pm and from 6am to 8am on Christmas Day.

• Annie Lennox reflecting on her successful music career ahead of her 70th birthday with a Radio 2 appearance on December 22.

Celebrity Guest Editors

Several celebrities will guest edit the BBC’s flagship news and current affairs program, “Today”, during the festive period. These include:
