The Frick Collection’s Young Fellows Ball brought together New York’s best-dressed under-45s for a night of florals, fashion, and philanthropy.
A Night of Florals, Fashion, and Philanthropy at the Frick Collection’s Young Fellows Ball
This year’s highly anticipated benefit fused high fashion, floral fantasy, and philanthropy in one unforgettable night at the museum. More than 600 of New York‘s best-dressed under-45s gathered to serve looks and support the Frick Collection’s exhibitions, conservation efforts, and public programming.
Located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, The Frick Collection is a renowned museum housing an impressive collection of art and antiquities.
Founded by Henry Clay Frick in 1930, the museum's collection includes works by Old Masters such as Rembrandt, Vermeer, and Whistler.
With over 1,000 objects on display, visitors can explore European paintings, sculpture, and decorative arts from the 13th to the 20th centuries.
The Frick Collection is also home to an impressive library and archive containing rare books and manuscripts.
Design Inspiration from Ukraine
The year’s theme, Porcelain Garden, took its cue from the reopening of ‘Porcelain Garden: Vladimir Kanevsky at The Frick Collection,’ featuring stunningly lifelike porcelain flowers that scattered throughout the museum. These blooms set the tone for an evening that was equal parts transportive, philanthropic, and culturally grounded.
Immersive Experiences and Artistic Dreamscapes

Two immersive photo experiences, one on each floor, echoed Kanevsky’s florals, offering guests a chance to step into artistic dreamscapes and capture the moment. The ball also featured gallery talks centered on paintings by Turner and Lawrence side-by-side with DJ sets by Angel + Dren.
A Sea of Style and Sophistication
Among the crowd were familiar faces, each clad to match the splendor of the setting. Notable attendees included prima ballerina Misty Copeland, glass artist Paul Arnhold, Baroness Allison Ecung von Arnim, arts patron Arielle Patrick, philanthropist Lizzie Asher, and actress Lola Tung. Honorary chair Bach Mai’s presence was unmistakable for his design acumen as well as the showstopping gowns he created for several guests.
Misty Copeland is an American ballet dancer who made history as the first African-American principal ballerina with the American Ballet Theatre.
Born in 1982, she began dancing at age four and joined the ABT studio company in 2001.
Copeland's rise to prominence was marked by her technical precision, artistic expression, and dedication to promoting diversity in ballet.
She has performed leading roles in Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, and Firebird, among others.
Through her achievements, Misty Copeland continues to inspire a new generation of dancers and challenge traditional notions of beauty and talent in the world of classical ballet.
A Celebration of Artistry and Community
The Young Fellows Ball is now nearing its third decade, with this year’s event showcasing the city’s best-dressed young professionals. The evening celebrated not only high fashion but also the Frick Collection’s commitment to exhibitions, conservation efforts, and public programming. As the night came to a close, guests departed with memories of an unforgettable evening in the beauty of art and philanthropy.
